India Denmark Climate and Sustainability Projects Portfolio | 2025

Bharatia, in collaboration with Danish Industry (DI), announce 15 strategic projects in India being developed for innovative Danish technology and engineering companies.

Overview

As part of the India-Denmark strategic cooperation, Bharatia, has developed a portfolio of strategic projects in India for Danish companies. The projects are in the climate, sustainability, environment and renewable energy sectors. See projects list further below.


This initiative furthers the India Denmark Green Strategic Partnership that was signed between the two nations in 2020.


Who can apply

The principal applicant can only be a Danish company. Categories are as follows:

  1. Provide system components only (OEM)

  2. System technology/solution provider

  3. Project co-developer including equity investor

  4. Project finance, guarantees, insurance and other financial instruments

  5. Enabler / Accelerator of Danish technologies


All other EOI entries will not be accepted. However, if as an Indian entity, you are interested in being part of the India-Denmark consortium, then you may reach out to us separately.


General Guidelines / FAQs

  • The projects list is a dynamic one and will be reviewed once every quarter to assess on the progress, take-up and even new project ideas.

  • If you wish to submit any new project idea that is outside the current list of projects, then you may do so via the EOI submissions form (select "None of the above" as an option from the projects list).

  • The bidders may bid as a consortium lead or a member of the consortium. If you do not have a consortium member, then Bharatia can support you in building an Indian/Danish consortium.

  • Details about project, procurement and financing will be provided in the project brief once the EOI submission first-close date is reached.

  • All technology companies will be required to demonstrate adequate TRL and CRL scores in order to meet the eligibility criteria. Read more details.
